An average person has an easier time digesting video with attractive visuals, nice background noise, and a powerful voice that advertises a product. When you compare the effectiveness of videos to something like a wall of text or even a simple image, it should be clear that videos are superior.

Now, as for how to leverage this type of content, there are a few options. The first is to create compilations and go viral. For example, you could use a tiktok video downloader to download multiple videos from the platform and create “the best of” lists.

Hiring a professional video editor and animator is another approach. Even if a video is short, it can still do work so long as it looks professional. 

Focus on SEO

Search engine optimization should be another important element of your marketing strategy. Organic traffic from Google is worth more than random people you redirect from social media or other platforms.

Optimizing your website’s content for buy-intent keywords and ranking on top pages will net more customers than you expect. 

In case you have been pouring resources into SEO already, increase the pouring even more. Hire someone who can manage your campaign, look for publishing sponsored content opportunities, and do not focus just on sites with high DR, keep up with the latest SEO news and trends, and show patience because optimizing for search engines takes time. 

Come up With Perks for Customers

Giving your customers something extra to the usual order could go a long way in building loyalty and incentivizing them to recommend your brand to their friends and family. 

Some examples of perks include free shipping, discounts, free entries into monthly giveaways, and freebies like custom t-shirts or caps. 

Even if these perks may not seem like much, they can still make a significant difference the next time someone thinks about where they should get their goods or services. 

Create the Fear of Missing Out

The fear of missing out may be a bit unethical, but it does not prevent brands from implementing the idea in their marketing plan. 

The method is pretty simple. When a potential customer is browsing a store, send them a pop-up that tells how there are only a few items left in stock. You could also increase the effectiveness by having a counter showing how many people are currently browsing the same product. 

Besides, if there is a discount on the product, the odds are that even more people will look to purchase it and take the opportunity while they still can. Otherwise, they will regret not spending money on a good deal that was not necessarily that good in the first place.

Approach Social Media Differently

It is most likely that you already have invested in social media marketing. However, since the most popular platforms like Facebook and Instagram have millions of active daily users, almost every brand is looking to establish their presence on these websites, creating a competitive environment. 

Repeating strategies of other brands will not get you anywhere, particularly if you are still a beginner. No, instead, you should aim to stand out from other brands on social media.

For instance, instead of working with A-tier celebrities and collaborating for promotional deals, hire micro-influencers. Even if they do not have as many followers, micro-influencers still come with a loyal fanbase that engages in their content.

Creating and growing a group you moderate is also not that common. Lastly, be on top of your game when replying to comments. If the engagement is high, you may not have the resources to reply to every social media comment. However, the more people receive a reply from you, the better off you will be.

Participate in Live Events

Hopefully, things will go back to normal after the pandemic, and people can gather again. When that happens, look for opportunities to participate in live events and meet other people. 

Talking to them about your business may lead to collaboration opportunities that would take the business to another level.
